Hi all

Just discovered something weird that I've never seen before on ACAD (2007).

The drawing has a few dimensions already on it and, previously, I could adjust them no worries.

I think somewhere down the line I've hit a command because the dimensions aren't behaving themselves.

Each time I try to adust a dimension now, the text size jumps from 200 to 2. not just for that dimension, but every dimension usinf that Dimstyle.

Any attempted change to the dimension brings the same result, whether it's grip edit, stretch, even changing the arrrowheads.

The odd thing is, when I look at the properties, ACAD thinks that the text size is still 200 ... even though it is displaying 2.

Hey rdavies1973'
I use AutoCAD 2008. Select the dimstyle that you want and make it current. Type dim, hit space bar, type up (for update), hit space bar, select the whole drawing and hit enter. That should update all of your dimensions to the selected dimstyle.

Hope that helps,
nameci

Check the text size in "Text style"
Go to "Format --text style"
You might have set default value of text style as 2

Hope this help

Hi Tom

I had a look at a previous version of the same project, and that was the exact problem. All resolved.

Still not sure how it happened.
