I was wondering if it's possible to match properties from a certain object to another without matching the rotation from the inital object...

I hope that description was clear. Kind of hard to explain i suppose.

Hey iron 1020, try MATCH PROPERTIES in the modify menu.  Click the object with the properties you want to match, then click any object you want to match properties.  Nice little paint brush icon shows up after you click the original object.

Hey Mistyb

haha i am well aware how to use the match properties command. The problem i have is that i dont want the rotation of the object to match properties. Only the linetype, or lineweight, or text style... etc...

Yes there is facility to match require things only.

Go to Match properties : settings : a pop up window for property setting comes on screen just select whatever you want to match, remaining every thing would be unselected.

Check if this helps

Hi tkelly

Wow, i really should have known that match properties has a settings section. Thanks for pointing that out. However, i still cant eliminate the rotation with keeping the height and layer changes.
At work i always need to match a text height and layer configuration, but not the rotation. But anyways. I'll keep playing with it. Thanks for your help.
