Hello,

I'm a new user to this software... and i wanted to know what's the difference between this software and the regular Autocad? Is it necessary to know the Autocad software in order to use the Map software?

AutoCAD Map contains all functions of the plain AutoCAD plus additional functionality for GIS, mapping/COGO, databases, topology, raster image formats, foreign file formats and general drawing functions (cleanup).
