Many manufacturers post drawings of their products for download in a PDF format.
Is it possible to import a PDF drawing into AutoCAD?

You can attach (underlay) PDF files in AutoCAD 2009 with the Bonus Pack, or in AutoCAD 2010.

Yes.
I use ''PDF to DWG Converter''.

There are several PDF-to-DXF or PDF-to-WMF utilities. I would vote against any non-Autodesk utility which writes/creates DWG files -- such forged DWG files are often source of serious problems.

No you can not import PDF into Autocad directly yet. but as I read on internet about features in Autocad 2010 It states that they have added feature for PDF import in Autocad.

Since I suppose you use 2008 Autocad it is best to redraft instead of using software for raster to vector conversion.

The process you can follow is to convert PDF into JPEG format and then insert JPEG into Autocad . Then you can draw as you want.

You can Drag your pdf strait into your autocad.  and it inserts it into your drawing sort of like OLE object.
