Hello, i've reaccently started using AutoCad and started to learn how to draw in it.

I then got the program for my laptop (version 2009) but when i open a drawing in that program it wont let me selcet individual lines, only all of them

Is there a simple setting to change this?

will be really greatful for a fast answer ^^

Hey And3rsson ,

First of all you make sure if the drawing u are selecting is a block reference or not.
For this, select that drawing and see the properties(ctrl 1). On the top of the properties window you can see the description,
if it says block reference, Then there can be two ways:

1) bedit (be)- block edit comand will take you to the block editor and you can make the desired changes, and you can close this by close block editor button, it will ask you if you want to save changes or not.

2) Explode (x): explode is the simplest way, but make sure if you want the block reference in future or  you will have to create a new block again.
just explode the drawing block, make the desired changes and proceed.

Enjoy Work
Tom
