When i am working in AutoCAD i crash sometimes even with small files.  I assume it is a hardware issue.  I have repaired or reloaded several times but i still  crash.  There seems to be no pattern to it as sometimes it happens right  after opening the file or several hours later. I design piping systems in 2D and at times in 3D and sometimes files we bring in can get large.  I am am trying to narrow down the list of culprits.  I seems that people i talk to either dont know or are reluctant to say what kind and how much of hardware is required.  Can anyone give a prescriptive remedy to this problem?
