At work I have to number many blocks. Is there a way (in 2009) to be able to make ONE block (or maybe even an attribute) that I can make that will number itself? Sorta like when you press ENTER in Word and it automatically numbers your list or line? I pretty much want to be able to copy the same thing over and over again without numbering them individually. Can this be done?

Unfortunately I am not aware of anything like this in AutoCAD. I don't think it would be possible to do everything at one go reason being each attribute is treated as separate object.

If you find it please let me know, I need to do this frequently when I work on drawings.
