Is there a way to align attributes that are within a block along a line based on their insertion point?

Are you wanting them aligned to a line in your drawing and you want to insert the block the attributes are in to that line?  Or are you trying to re position them within the block to a line?  I am just trying to understand what you are wanting to do.

Ok if this is going to be a permanent move for these attributes you will need to modify the insertion point. open the block with the attributes and then just create a new wblock with the new insertion point.  If the attribute was created and they were not locked in their position you can actually use the grip and move each individual attribute to where you need them.  If they are locked you will have to open the block with the attributes and unlock them. This can be done by selecting the arributes and in the properties window select No for locked.   I hope this helps

i understand that. the attributes are not locked and can be moved with the grip. my question is...is there a way to select the block then have the attributes or any object for that matter move and align along a polyline or line? If i cant get just the attributes to move, is there a command or lisp to align the blocks along a polyline or line?
