I am drawing up information @ 1:100 scale & x-ref’ing them into drawings (ie. dimensions, symbols, text… etc)

Now I need to do an enlarged plan @ 1:50, is there a way where I do not need to redo the information @ a different scale resulting in doubling up the work as well as revising it twice if needed?

I think that you must redesigne xref drawing for new scale and in your drawing reload xref

You could insert your drawing as a block and just rescale it that way.  usually it is better to draw 1:1 this way you can scale with a viewport.

I hope this helps.
