How do i create a linetype without the stupid alignment field that gives me longer lines at either end?

How do i re-load linetypes quickly without going through the long process of linetype manager, find file, reload, then find lines i want to reload & PE, ltypegen?

Please help!

the best way to help reload linetypes faster is to make a template dwg with them already loaded. If you do not have one created and you use the ACAD default line types add your linetype code to that ACAD.lin file saved in your support folder.

Example file path" C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\C3D 2006\enu\Support"

Look for the ACAD.lin  and open in notebook and scroll down to the bottom and add the code for your line type this way you can bring it in quicker.

As far as creating your linetype email me a dwg file with your linetype in it and draw an example on how you want it to look and I can write directions on how to fix your linetype.

i hope this helps.  email add: mailto:msplcdykee69@yahoo.com - msplcdykee69@yahoo.com
