when i exporting 3d geometry from auto cad 2009 to max 09 there is no option availabel of 3ds formate that availble in autocad 2004.
 
 my problem is that when i import dwg file from auto cad round geomatry (sphere) face no seen propely when i render. & same sphere i export from autocad 2004 as 3ds fromate & then i import in max then geomatery look well.
 
   is there is any setting in autocad 2009 that give smooth surface when it is import inb 3dmax 9?
 
 i know FACETRES value keep 10 when exporting from autocad to 3d max9
