Newbie To cad 2007, I have been running 2000 Pro for too long and now have Autocad 2007--nice graphic nice tool bars but im abit lost.
Ive tryed to open up a old 2000 version dwg. and cant seem to get it to work. 1st. thing is it highlites the drawing as a object?? not single lines?? 2nd. tryed to add new dimension and will not scale down?? new dimension remain same hugh size no matter what I do?
Will wait for comment on old guy w/ new toy

Maybe is a block and you should explode it.

Yes , Your right, Older versions are imported into the newer program as a block. I have dove back into the pool of uncertainty and tried to swim in the new environment---Im doggy paddling pretty good now.
