I beleive your looking for the command "osnap".  After typing the command in you will be able to set which snaps you want.Smile

I am trying to use the grid points for my reference for x and y directions with the point 10 m/m apart but no matter what I put in the measurement box's it still wont snap to any of the points.

Shocked
OH! Sorry Colbags, but I have never used snaps, except to change to Isometric Mode.  I been using AutoCad since Rel. 4 and have never needed 'em.  I'm really sorry I can't help.Cry

Hi colbags, if I've understood it correctly you may need set SNAPMODE 1 by typing it directly on the command line and then set it to 1, or in the status bar click on the snap button to activate it.
Besides, if you type OSNAP you can access the osmode screen where you can define snap resolution on X, Y axes.
Hope I've helped you, let me know.
