Hi everyone.

 

I have been recently asked if its possible to get area information from a mass element, for instance if I have 5 square blocks stacked up on top of each other each one 3500mm high to represent a floor, and I just wanted to find out the AREA of the bottom of 1 block (not the AREA of the entire object) How can I do this, is there a really cool button I have not found, or is there some major work required.

 

Also I would then like to be able to get this set up so it creates the area's (linked if you will) into Excel. If anyone can help it would be really appreciated, as I've looked every where for a solution!

 

Might be worth mentioning I use AutoCAD Architecture 2009.
