When i complete the 3d model with AutoCAD 09 and rendering the current view the lighting in the drawing seems to always make the walls and other surfaces appear to be darker and the color of wall and finishes i choose are rendering several shades darker than they are suppose to. For example when i have a drawing with white walls and render them they are usallly grey or a dark greyish brown color.

I am wishing that someone could give me a tip or some type of standard way i can place the point or spot lights in the drawing.  I dont know if they must be in a lighting object such as a lamp or ceiling light fixture. I usally just turn off all layers except the ceiling and place spot lights and place them in the direction that  i want for them to illuminate.

Any suggestions or tips.
