Happy seasons to all;

How do I draw a recessed band around a sphere?

TIA

Just [CMD]SUBTRACT[/CMD] a "donut" (a cylinder shell) created by subtracting two cylinders (flat "bottom" of the band), or by substracting a smaller sphere from a cylinder (spherical "bottom" of the band).

Most modeling operations of this type can be done just by adding and subtracting 3D solids.
