Hello,
I am having trouble with my ucs. when I'am in a plan view and try to draw a line from a point in the drawing the line goes down in a slite z direction. When I just draw a line just off a point the line is fine any help will be appreciated.

Thank you.

sounds like you have you 'plan veiw' slightly skewed in the 'y' axis?
...slight z direction....meaning in the negitive y axis as viewed flat: x,y?
tricky question man, lol
good luck

sorry but you might be right. I'll try to explain it better. when in plan view I will draw lets say a box in 2D 12"x12", and then I want to draw a line on the bottom mid point 6" and hit enter, you can hardly see the line. Now when you look at the box from the right the box should look like one line and it does exept for the line in the middle it goes down at like a 45 deg angle.

thank you for any help.

Check the z values of the box & the line. Maybe the box has a z value not equal to 0 (or your current "elevation" setting); when you draw from "mid" that endpoint will take on the box's z value but the other endpoint will be different.

ID the corner points of the box to see if you have any Z values
