I always seem to be missing shape fonts when I open cad files sent to me and I think it is also out of the xrefs, etc. It is sometimes so bad that I have to hit esc about 25 times. Anyone know where I can download more shape fonts for my CAD? Free or purchase, either way I need this to not pop up all the time anymore. Such a basic thing but frustrating!

Just noticed the Tip 5900 for the download to purge, I will try that first...

This feature still does not solve my problem with all the missing shape fonts. Anyone know of a download available for all the shape fonts available for CAD that I can purchase and download? To eliminate missing any of them in the future?

It may be person who is sending you the drawing uses some non-standard fonts. You could ask them to use "e-transmit" so that the zip file will include the font files. What are the font names that are missing?

You are probably right, the ones missing on this one are:
 
LPA_SQUIG9.shx
CHAINLINK.shx
 
each pop up about 4 different times that I have to hit esc before I can get to the drawing, it is really annoying, especially that they pop up so many times and they are the same file name...
