Hi,

In my office we do PDFs to sent out to clients. We are using AutCAD (Full) and LT 2008. Drawings are in Tabs/layouts ranging from 10 upto 20 (in tabs/layouts). The PDFCreator V. 0.9.3 and this product is the only one that reduced the size to a reasonable size. (at the moment we are getting 2-3MB min, drawings includes maps, detail drawings and photos).

The way we create the PDF is, first we create the DWF from AutoCAD, then covert the DWF to PDF using PDFCreator.

Does anyone know any product to make PDF and the size is very small.

Thanks in advance

Lol, yeah, turn off more layers and dont use color. Also decrease your dpi (resolution).
There is no product that does what you want (that i know of) other than compressing them into zip files.

If I'm thinking, blizzard outside, you want to decrease the size of the *.pdf.

I'm using Adobe Pro which does have the option "reduce file size." Doesn't do a great job but does help some.

Usually the *.pdf has more bytes than the *.dwg file, go figure(?). Confused
