i got an exam tommorow and still dont really understand how to calculate scales many classmates are having trouble understanding it i was wondering is any one could help i can do the calculation but dont under stand it one i remeber is for text hieght like leroy 80 is like 80/1000=.08x25.4/1000 x the scale (1:75) =.1524 like what did i just do dont understand it lol |

In this case your problem is Converting inch vs mm .
You have a different system from our in EU etc
Problem is Scaling or Converting.
I am trying to give some sample.
1) 1:10 does mean 1 units in drawing = 10 units in real so and text multiplay with 10.
2) 1inch=25.4 mm so you multiplay units in inch with 25.4
I have no time more to explay better .
