I'm want to change the point display of a specific layer without changing the other points.  I am using AutoCAD LT 2008.  Is this possible and how?  Please help. Thanks

Point display (the shape) is a global setting so you cannot set it just for one layer. In full AutoCAD you can use e.g. the P2BLK utility and replace the selected points with specific blocks.
