Whassup guys!

I need to know if and how I can relocate my sketch X,Y coordinates in an adaptive part created off a master.
Problem is, after I created my part in an assembly, when I edit the part the 0,0 is off in space somewhere, NOT aligned to the vertical and horizontal extremeties of the actual part.
Reason is, Im taking dxf geometry created by the electrical engineers PCB program and inserting it onto my part to make pad extrusions to detail component locations.
Please help!! measuring the X,Y is a bitch, although doable. Any help or advice would be great!
