I recently bought a laptop with windows 7, has anyone any experience with Acad on this platform

Lots in the forums and tips relating to this subject.
 
I have heard of a few who do run older vervions of AutoCAD under the newer Win 7 OS.
 
You will probably have to run AutoCAD using XP Mode.
 
Hunt around the tips 'n tricks for more information.
