Lamp
To all,
I have created a rectangle and extruded it to a desired thickness. next I want to attach an image, most likely a *.bmp or *.jpg. This I have done by adding an image. What I cannot do is render the project in Inventor Studio and see the attached image. I have created a texture using a *.bmp for one project and that worked for one application I but need to attach an image for this project. I have attached the image but it disappears when I render the project in studio. I have tried the decal function but the help files are limited and I did not have success with that.
If any readers know or have an idea of how to get the image to show in a rendered bmp in studio please reply.

TIA

DJMike

I assume you are using decals. Please note that decals were not rendered in older versions of Inventor.
You can also use material textures (bitmaps).

Vladimir,
Can you help with some steps using decals?
How do I use it?

It is like sticking the real decals on an model - this is quite well explained in the Help.
