Good day folks.

I'm looking for a 22 inch monitor that is not a wide screen but I'm having a hell of a time finding one.

Everyone has the wide screen but no one has the standard type.

So I would love to get your opinion on how do you like working in CAD using a wide screen? I have never used one, but I imagine it would take some getting used to.

Any thoughts would be appreciated before I spend money on a new LCD

Thanks

Joe

Or maybe a wrong question or a wrong question in this type of forum...

There is no problem using wide or tall or any other type of LCD monitor in CAD - just have the right native resolution that your graphics card supports.

I don't think I'd have any problems using a widescreen, well my laptop, which I occasionally use AutoCAD on is widescreen and never really thought twice about it.  At work we all have dual screens these days anyway but that is mostly related to the other software we use for design.  A 22" monitor would be all class though!
