Hi all, and thank you first of all for any help you may be able to lend.

I have racked my brain trying to use the correct search terms to locate the information I need. Seems that the key words are related to multiple other topics and I end up running in circles.

Issue: I have thousands of projects across the US. They were created over the last 10 years. I would like to be able to pull up a specific project by searching the address of the job site. Each CAD file has the address a few times within the drawing.

I have found a database managers, however the ones I have found require you to go in and add key words to each file. One program said it searched the internal file itself and looked for the key words, however it was less than successful.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Funny, I just tried regular Windows Vista search of files and it seems like it worked... ummm I will have to test it more. That would be really sill if that works. Silly and great.
