I am an old ACAD user who is trying figure out how to get into ACAD 3d.  I've learned other 3d programs (max & sketchup), but I haven't delved into ACAD 3d since the late 90s.

My floor plans are constructed with 3d objects (walls, windows, doors) and I need to get to the next step of putting this together to form a model.

Is there any tutorial out there to get me started?  Everything I see starts from square one, which is not where I'm at.

Any help appreciated :)

What version of Autocad are you using?
Tutorials for pre 2007 versions are vastly different from those that are post 2007.

So, what type of tutorials are you looking for? You said the ones you've seen start at square one, but if you're new to all of this, isn't that where you need to start?

You may want to consider purchasing a book or training DVD, or enroll in a class. I don't think you will get very far simply by looking at the few free tutorials that are available online.

I agree, get some training either online or in a class. The worst thing yo can do is spend days and weeks in an unproductive environment pushing buttons to see what happens, the people that do this often think they are experts but miss all the best bits and tips and tricks of the software.
