in autocad architecture there is a command line at the bottom of the drawing page which is used to type commands in by using short cut keys but i cannot seem to find this feature in revit architecture pleeeeeease help is this feature in revit or not

| thankyou for your help but how do i set up these short cut keys as i am new to the revit any help would be gratefully recieved |

It depends on the Revit version - in the latest Revit 2011 you can define the shorcuts using R > Options > User interface > Configure > Keyboard shortcuts.
