Hi all-

I am currently an architecture student and working as an intern for the summer. I have been working for a single architect and have been doing most of his work for him on Cad throughout the summer. I work on the AutoCAD 2010 Student Version, but have been able to coordinate with his older professional Cad drawings and making improvements / finalizing drawings.

Just yesterday I tried opening a large file from his computer and my Cad instantly shut down stating:

         FATAL ERROR: Unhandled e0434f4dh Exception at 7c812afbh

Since this, I cannot open anything on my AutoCad without this message popping up. I even tried opening previous drawings from my studio and it still shuts down. I have a Mac but work on a Bootcamp version of Windows. Maybe this could be why?

If anyone has any knowledge I really need help. My boss is going out of town and I have to work in the office for a week alone, finishing up drawings on cad. I need this problem to be fixed or else I wont get these jobs done on time. Please let me know as soon as possible!

Kelly

So you're doing professional commercial work for an architect using the educational version of Autocad?

As far as I know, that problem could have thousands of causes but I think your only solution will be reinstall the program. Some people who had the same problem, told me that it had to do with  .Net Framework Updates. They told they had to uninstall Frame Network and AutoCAD, then clean Windows Registry and then reinstall AutoCAD, wich includes .Net Framework 2.0

Sorry, where I wrote "... to uninstall Frame Network..." I should have wrote "... to uninstall .NET Framework..."

Copied from web:
-->Uninstall the Microsoft .NET Framework.
-->Uninstall AutoCAD.
-->Restart the computer.
-->Reinstall AutoCAD.
-->Reinstall .NET Framework.
Hopefully the problem can be solved.Wink

If you're running Win7 you could try this:

1. Open command prompt. (RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR)
2. Type the following text:   bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVA 3072
3. Restart computer.
This will make more memory avilable for applications, and less avilable for the operating system.

Made a big difference at my computer.

Sorry for any spelling mistakes.
