hi there,
im using A2008, how to freeze specific layer in layout/viewport by just clicking (with out manipulating in layer properties manager)

Use the Express Tools LAYFRZ command.

sorry for not clear enough, what i mean is to freeze a specific layer by just clicking  in a specific viewport without affecting other viewports.  or need
a lisp to do this?

When you use LAYFRZ through a viewport, and select an object (layer), it does freeze the layer in just that viewport. Same effect as using VPLAYER command.
