I'm brand new to this forum.  I have been a CAD user for the past 8 years, and hopefully be able to help out where I can.
 
I have a question, hopefully someone can help me out. 
 
I have just recently upgraded my AutoCAD from 2004 to 2011.  Now, when I open up an excel file, I get a window pop-up which reads "please wait while Windows configures AutoCAD Mechanicl 2011".  It takes about 30 seconds to confugure, then it goes away. 
 
It does this every time I open Excel.  I'm running Office 2000.
 
Anybody know what's going on??
