Just wondering whether many civil designers out there use AutoCAD for pure civil design work?  Or is it more standard that drawings are just 'tidied up' in AutoCAD, while the design work is carried out in other applications.  Are there any addons etc. for AutoCAD for this purpose?  Talking about earthworks, roading, sewer and drainage systems etc.

Yes  for more specifics drawings we should use a  specific program.

Ex: Autodesk Inventor is better in 3D than  the AutoCAD for Mechanical designers because it is have more tools for needs a drawing with an accurase and quickly.etc.
