How do I add grips to a regular polyline once the polyine is already drawn? The way we do it in our office right now is to break the line in the spot you want to add the grip, and then join the line back up. There has to be an easier way!!!

What I think you mean is: "How do I add a node to a poly line?"
Type "PE" at the command line, this is what you get:

Command: pe PEDIT Select polyline or [Multiple]:
Enter an option [Close/Join/Width/Edit vertex/Fit/Spline/Decurve/Ltype

Type "E" at the command line for edit, and you get this:

[Next/Previous/Break/Insert/Move/Regen/Straighten/Tangent/Width/eXit] <N>:

LDD places an "X" at the beginning of the polyline. This is the current node. The default is "N" which of course changes the X to the next node. Use N to get to the node just prior to where you want to add a node and then choose "I" for Insert. Choose a location for the new node, and then you can "X" for exit or go on to other edits.
