Is it possible to use a single attribute more than once in a block?  I'm trying to set up a block with items having different text between blocks but common text in the same block.

For example, assume a block with three circles.  In two of the circles, I'd like 'text1' and in the third 'text2'.  When I create a block with attribute 'text2', 'text1' and copy 'text1', the attribute editor displays text1, text1 and text2.  I'd like to only enter in 'text1' once.

I'm using Autodesk Building Systems 2006.

Maybe you can try something with the command ´field´ and then ´object´. I don´t know if it is possible in the block itself, but in that way you can get the same value as a value of a attribute in a block.

Good luck with it.
