Fatal Error when opening CAD without pen stick

When I open CAD 2000 it gives me a Fatal Error message : Unhandled e06d7363h Exception at 75839617 H ???
 
This only happens when I do not have the memory pen stick in the USB of the laptop. I am not trying to open a dwg from the pen stick, I have saved them all to the laptop but it wont open them unless the stick is in the computer..
 
This is also happens when trying to open CAD by itself and not a dwg.
 
Sometimes this does not come up but more than often it does. I think it may have something to do with way I have been saving the drawings??
 
Can anyone help... Thanks
