is there any way you can darken/lighten a colour when displayed in the conceptual visual style,

i have a very minor part of a 3d model that needs to be pretty much black in colour but i can only achieve a dark grey whilst in the conceptual visual style

i have played around with all the colours index's etc but i can't seem to make it any darker.

any help appreciated!

Well thanks for nothing guys Angry

haha just kiding!  i did actually find a solution if anyone happens to need it in the future...

keep the drawing set to conceptual then open the visual styles manager and change the material display option to materials or materials and textures and then simply apply a material that matches the required colour etc. doing this will obviously display the drawing as conceptual but will also show any materials and textures you apply as well.
