Hi, we have migrated to AutoCAD MEP 2011 and are having some serious trouble creating sections.

In the past, I used CADDuct which has a fantastic sectioning tool. Without it however, I am struggling.

OK, so I have tried Solview which will create a section until I run a hide on it, then it becomes an elevation.

I have tried the section tool and create a live section but I have found this is limited to ONE sectional view with all new sections "adding" to the original.

I always used to use clipping planes but I have found that the 3DClip command is worse than useless on MEP items as it does nothing at all.....

Can anyone help?

Thanks
