Hi
I've just started using Inventor, and I was wordering how to make a piece of cloth.
I've made a miniature beach-chair.

and here's the real-life model

as you can see I need to fit a piece of cloth between the two "light-wood" posts
hope you guys can give me some poiters

maybe you can try to draw a curve plane and change the material type into sumthin that looks like a cloth...

It's not that difficult, but you need to think about it slightly different. Instead of making an object with thousands of holes (which would be a big file) you make a curved surface (either extruded or lofted).
