How to get into Architecture?

Been working for structural and civil engineers for around 10 years and now I am in the manufacturing industry (conveyors).
I did work as an architectural technician for around 8 months a few years ago
I'm looking to get back into architecture, what would be the best way to go about it?
As for training I have a ONC building studies and a HNC civil engineering
Would some Revit training help?

Have you contacted any architecture firms in your area and asked them what they are looking for in a potential employee? What software knowledge do they require, what type of experience are they looking for, etc. You don't want to go and pay for training on software that you won't actually get to use on the job. Also, the firm that hires you might offer to send you for training at their expense. So don't jump the gun and spend a bunch of money on training until you know what training you need.
I would say, as long as you have a good understanding of Autocad, you should be able to get your foot in the door of any firm. Then just let them know that you are ready, willing and able to get trained on whatever software they use, be it Revit or Architecture or whatever.
