linetypes creating form standard shapes

hello,
I have found very interesting TIP here:

but I cannot achieve any of the linetypes given in the example (DOTS, DOTS1,ARROW)


*DOTS,Dots .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  
A,.000001,-3,["\U+25CF",Standard,S=3,R=0,X=-1.25,Y=-1.25],-3
*DOTS1,Dots1 .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  . 
A,.000001,-3,["\U+2022",Standard,S=3,R=0,X=-1.44,Y=-1.44],-1.7
*ARROW,Arrow1  >  >  >  >  >  >  >  
A,.000001,-3,["\U+25BA",Standard,S=3,R=0,X=-1.35,Y=-1.35],.000001,-4

Instead of expected linetype I obtain linetype with word "\U+25CF" and so on. I dont really know why this happen because font in my STANDARD style is set to ARIAL.TTF.

So why is this happening?
