| HELP!!! When I am in a command or drawing a line, and I right click for my osnap and select an osnap, the line stretches to a point outside of my drawing. in the command prompt it says: specify second point or <use first point as displacement>... does anyone know how to change the default for the displacement????? HELP!!!! |

| I do not believe there is a default for that...the displacement is whatever you make it...and considering your last thread, id say post a pic/screen shot of wtf your trying to do. |

From what you're describing, Annie, it's acting normal. Try Zooming out.

| Thank you fro responding. The right click osnap is not working. it either cicks me out of the menu without completing the snap or it snaps to a location far from my drawing which i did not select. I have set all of the settings to the same as my previous version including the osnap settings, dynamic input, user preferences, drafting options. I have gone through them all to match my previous settings. i must be missing something. HELP!!! I cannot work without my right click .... |

Exactly which snap are you trying to use? And what type of object are you trying to snap to? Instead of using the right-click method, try manually typing the snap in. Is it acting the same way? | manually typing the osnap does work. So i dont know why the right click menu is not working. I am trying to use any of the osnaps... i am having issues with all of them. Any suggestions?? |

Did you also check Right-click settings?
From the menu: Tools>Options>user preferences>Right Click Customization

| Nothing works to get my right click menu with osnap working. I tried looking in the right click customization and other settings. The regular typed osnaps do work and the osnap fixed settings works. I use the right click menu quite a bit. Does anyone know why it would not work???? |

Just curious, are you holding down the Shift Key when you right-click?

| OK i knew you were on to something... when i keep the shift down while i am selecting in the right click menu and the osnaps work. I am not sure how to change this but i may be able to adjust myself to this.... |

| Thank you thank you. I can deal with that... i just have to hold down the shift but i could get use to it. now i just have to figure out why my new fonts are not loading and i am good to go... have a great day !!! You are AWESOME |
