Why don't you make this a little easier and tell us what you're looking for. We're not mind readers.

There are lots of different programs available.

What type of work do you do? Mechanical, Architectural, Other?
Are you looking at 2D or 3D programs? Or both?
What is your budget? How much are you able to spend?
Do you have any experience with CAD programs?

Ease of use is relative. What might be easy for me could be very difficult for you. Most programs are available for a 30 day trial period. I suggest you download some and test them out and find the one that works best for you.

If you reply back, with answers to my questions, we may be able to guide you in the right direction. But walking in here and saying "I'm looking for CAD software" is like walking into a restaurant and saying "I'm hungry" or walking into a car dealership and saying "I want a new car". That's nice, but can you tell us a little bit about what you want!

CAD Pro is the perfect CAD software for patent drawings!CAD Pro is excellent for preparing very detailed blueprints for any type of patent design. You can then present your drafted blueprints to a patent attorney or patent agent. This will allow any patent professional to quickly  review your blueprints and quickly gain an accurate understanding of your invention. Your detailed CAD software blueprints will save a lot of expensive time for your attorney or agent.Star

chemionix: The question was NOT about what is the perfect CAD software for patent drawings.  Maybe you should reconsider your answer.

To the person who did ask about design software.

Are you a student?

What type of designing would you like to do?

Will 3D skills be required?

Do you see yourself having to produce renderings?

What software have you looked at already?

I don't think the OP is coming back. He asked this question back in January.

AutoCAD Plant 3D would seem like a logical choice to me.

There are other programs such as CADWorx.
