How do I get my .dwg into a .stl file???? When I try to export it as a .stl it telss me that I need to be in the positive octant. I've tried getting it into the positive x,y,z but no luck. anybody help me out?

In plan view, draw a rectangle around your model so that the entire model fits inside the box. Now move the box to X0,Y0 so that the lower left corner is sitting right on X0,Y0. Now move your model so that it fits inside the box. Now delete the box.
