For uni project i need to produce architectural 2d drawings using a freeware packages.
Does any1 know or point me in the right direction about choosing a package

cheers for your reply mate. No its not a money issue. I have to compare two different 2D packages, ones is AutoCAD and need to compare it with a freeware package. I am a student doing a degree in CAD and its all engineering modelling, but im doing this for a project. I have only ever used the 3d pro-engineer so im trying to learn a bit more about the 2d stuff. If you could help anymore that would be great if not, cheers anyway.
