Hello,
I am new here, so excuse me if this question is too direct. I am surveyor and I have measured profile of sea bottom near beach by boat. To be precise I have measured it with Stratabox. I have picture in jpg format and turned it into block into Civil 3d. So i have to scale it and i don't know how. On y axis i have scale to compare scaling with, and on x axis i have coordinates to calculate real distance. Only thing i don't know is command and process of scaling. So i would preciate if someone could help me with this issue. thank you.

I hope I got your question right, scaling is just for your output drawing, so you can do it as per your standard. In my case i used to scale the "y" axis to suit my presentation. If the terrain is almost flat I do a vertical exageration from 2 to 10 times. But remember (always) the distance between two points is always the "horizontal measurements between them.
