Hi, construction works are going on and I will finally get my own room within few weeks! You have posted in the 3ds Max, Maya forum.
And you are asking about tips for decorating your room?
 
Is this a "real" room or one you have drawn and now wish to render using 3ds Max?
 
Your question seems a bit unusual.  More detail would be appreciated.
