Just got a student version of 2006 off a friend.  I need to find a way to use the license for my laptop to my work pc without having to transfer it all the time using the Portable License Utility.  I suppose I can export it on a flash drive from one to other but that seems like a pain.   Any help out there with this issue would be much appreciated.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like you're trying to figure out a way to use the educational software at work for commercial purposes? If that's the case, good luck. I don't know of too many people that would be willing to help you out with this scenario.

Why won't work provide you with a new copy of AutoCAD?
