Hello

I am completely new to AutoCAD and wanted to draw my wall. So I started meassuring, calculated angle on the wall, but how do I make the wall a unit (or an object) so I can "cut" the window in?

I know the buttom left corner of the window starts 40 centimeters out from the wall and 60 centimeters off the floor. So I draw the lines giving my the spot on the floor where the buttom left corner of the walll must start. At the point of that line I go straight up 90 degrees, but I want the new line to intersect with the wall, instead - now it just go straight through the wall.

Does this make any sense at all?

I'm assuming you are attempting to do this in 3D right?

To create a 3D wall in AutoCAD you can use the Polysolid command as one option.  You can draw your wall in plan view then use the PressPull or Extrude command to give it height.  Or you can change the orientation of your UCS, draw the wall in elevation and use the PressPull or Extrude command to give it a width.

You must learn how to manipulate your UCS so you can draw in different planes.  It can be done manually, via the Ribbon, or by way of the Dynamic UCS.  It also helps to be using a 3D workspace and know something about visual styles (2D wireframe, conceptual, hidden, realistic, etc.).
