Hi,
Could some one help me with this issue:

I have an assembly with drawing there I only want to show some of the included parts. I use an unique "Level of Detail" there i have supressed my parts which I don“t want to show. I also include a BOM on the drawing. Despite I connect this BOM to the view with reduced parts, I still have all parts included in the assembly showed in the BOM. Why?? I also tested the View command but with the same result.
How should I do?

All the parts still show in the BOM because you simply 'suppressed' them, not delete. To hide parts in the BOM, you have to edit the parts list and hide them manually, one by one, then re-order accordingly.

Unless somebody has a more efficient method? Please share!!

Thanks for your answer.

It doesn't feel good to solve the problem in this way. If the solution is to hide part in the BOM I should be a little worry about if a BOM really shows what I see in the view, in those cases I look on someone else drawing. If I compare to ProE and SolidEdge I know that the BOM parametly show whats on the view.

yeah, ProE an ...the other one are different animals. Basically the only way for the parts to NOT show up in the BOM is to delete the files out of the assy...unless, like I said, SOMEbody has a better idea...
