Hi guys

i got a little problem with autocad 2008
since the site i work on is just so big and with the amount of cubicles we have here, it's dificult to remember where everything is. So we have certain drawings of the buildings showing all the cubicles there are and we create an EPS file of this drawing when it has been updated
Which then gets transfered into a database, so people can access it online to see where certain cubicles are around site.

now the problem i have is if i try to create an eps file with autocad 2008 (using PSOUT command or printing it straight to an EPS) is that the text on the drawings gets exploded into lines, this causes a problem with the database not being able to read the text from the EPS file.

at the moment we are still using 1 autocad2000 machine for this (which doesnt work at the moment due to me wanting to upgrade to winXP to get it on the network Cry) but I would like to get rid of it anyway.

anyway here is a picture of the EPS file created using autocad2008

text style we use is SIMPLEX with a width factor of 1.

anyone know how i can get it to leave the text as it is? do i need to get some kind of plugin for it?

thanks in advance Smile
